2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Touring/Camper Van Conversion
V6 Diesel 2WD, 33k miles, Rust Free

This 2500 high roof Sprinter 144 was custom ordered new by the owners, and subsequently upfitted as a touring camper. The van is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Lima Black Fabric cab seats and is powered by the 3.0-liter BlueTec turbodiesel V6, a five-speed automatic transmission, and 3.92 ratio rear axle. This is the same drivetrain Mercedes used in their commercial Sprinters, and only has 32,800 miles on it. The body is rust free, as it was stored over winters and thus not exposed to road salt. Additially, the running boards were professionally installed by SportsMobile, and just three weeks later were undercoated as an additional preventive measure (reciepts included).
Factory ordered features include the 270 degree opening rear barn doors, high roof, 4-wheel ABS, A/C, fog lamps, alloy wheels, cruise control, tinted windows, factory 'Comfort Seats' with adjustable lumbar support, the parking aid system, the contractor's package including dual batteries and four key fobs, and a factory installed trailer hitch. The van has never towed a trailer, the hitch was only used for a bike rack.
Owner modifications include 30 Amp 120V shore power, 12V power converter, roof mounted 120V A/C unit, Dometic Fan-Tastic roof vented variable speed reversable fan, a second Fan-Tastic Endless Breeze portable fan with a rear door mount setup, sliding door custom tinted window with crank out window vent, over-cab storage shelf, custom made cabinets with sliding drawers, privacy curtains including the front cab, fold down table, twin six foot beds, 5" thick custom seat/bed cushions, sink with on-demand pump, 120V tankless hot water heater, interior fresh and gray water storage tanks, 120V microwave, dual power refrigerator, 12V TV, and a stored portable cassette toilet. The air conditioner, roof vent, and shore power were professionally installed by Arlington RV in Rhode Island.
The following accessories are also included with the van; a shore power cord, fresh and grey water hoses, hose water pressure regulator, removable aluminum window vents, Screenz brand Sprinter door screens, and a Heatshield brand windshield reflector.
Note there had been a rain leak in the past due to a cracked plastic bezel on the roof vent fan. In 2019 the fan was professionally replaced, and it hasn't leaked again since. However the leak left a stain on the interior roof (see photos.)
This van comes with documented service and maintenance records. Records show a new auxillary battery in 2020, and a new main battery and starter in 2021. The Takata driver and passenger airbags were replaced under recall in August 2017 at a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Despite having only 33k miles, documents show the van has had seven 10k maintenance services performed at Mercedes Benz dealerships, each of which each included a factory spec synthetic oil change. The most recent oil change was in April 2024 at 32685 miles. In preparation for the sale the van just had the engine and cabin air filters replaced with new Wix filters, and it just received a set of four new tires of the same type as the original factory tires.
Due to an emissions recall Mercedes-Benz has provided an extended warranty (fully transferable to subsequent owners) for a period of 4 years or 48,000 miles from the date on which the recall work was performed. This van had it's AEM recall work done on 4/26/2021 (at 30,758 miles), so it still has factory warranty coverage until 4/26/2025 (or 78,758 miles). This Sprinter has 33k miles and is now offered by the owner along with four key fobs, manufacturer’s literature, dealer paperwork, original window sticker, build sheet, upfitting product manuals and receipts, documented service and maintenance history, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title.
